Justa song I like

Love Crucified Arose

Long ago He blessed the earth
Born older than the years
And in the stall a cross He saw
Through the first of many tears
A life of homeless wandering
Cast out in sorrow's way
The Shepherd seeking for the lost
His life, the price He paid

Love crucified, arose
The Risen One in splendor
Jehovah soul Defender
Has won the victory
Love crucified, arose
And the grave became a place of hope
For the heart that sin and sorrow broke
Is beating once again

Throughout Your life You felt the weight
Of what You'd come to give
To drink for us that crimson cup
So we might really live
At last the time to love and die
The dark appointed day
That one forsaken moment
When Your Father turned His face away

Love crucified, arose
The One who lived the died for me
Was Satan's nail-pierced casualty
Now He's breathing once again

Love crucified, arose
And the grave became a place of hope
For the heart that sin and sorrow broke
Is beating once again

Love crucified, arose
The Risen One in splendor
Jehovah soul defender
Has won the victory

Love crucified, arose
And the grave became a place of hope
for the heart that sin and sorrow broke
is beating once again

Love crucified, arose
The One who lived and died for me
Was Satan's nail-pierced casualty
Now He's breathing once again

great song. my favorite part of it is the third stanza. like in "it is well with my soul" I like the third stanza. there about the same in what they are talking about.

It is well with my soul is one of my favorite songs. I found that song (love crucified arose) when I was on youtube yesterday; I like Michael Card and he is a little less "rockier" than other christian music I have listened to.

for some reseason people like it rocky. there like "its sounds better" or "it gets you into it". ya if you want to dance to it. but thats not what their for. my friends think i'm dumb for not liking there music. well I don't like music that gives me head ache just trying to understand what there saying, the beat already is bad enough. oh and the fact that it so loud that your pop at the starting of it. not healthy.

It does sound better if you can still understand the words, if you cant understand the words then I don't listen to it. The rocky part attracts people I think, not necessarily to dance to (all though they do sometimes) its just catchy. I cant really explain why I like rockier christian music, I just do. But my family tries to keep it in check I guess so that we don't offend others who don't like that kind of music. I don't know if you read one of my very first posts where I wrote about that subject.
