Timmy and John

Today has been an interesting day. I know just about everybody who reads this blog already knows why today was interesting, but I want to write it anyways.

My parents took Timmy to the clinic where they were told that he had bronchiolitis and they should take him to the hospital, so Timmy went to Hotel Dieu Saturday morning. Dad told me that when the got there, the nurses ran to acute right away because he was having trouble breathing. Timmy stayed over night in the pediatric and sometime around 8am (or so) he was taken by helicopter to CHEO in Ottawa. Sometime during the night (I guess) Timmy had gotten worse and he had to have the oxygen mask or else he was gasping for breath. So that is were my mom and Timmy are now, dad says Timmy may be there for a few days or until he can breath without oxygen.

Sunday, John seemed to have gotten worse and dad was expecting to have to take him to the hospital when he got done settling in my mom. John was wheezing, and after lunch he told me that he was having trouble breathing. So as soon as dad got home, he and I took John to Hotel Dieu. When we got there they sent us to acute and gave John a vaporizing mask to help break up the mucus so that he could breath better. John seemed quite comfortable and fell asleep:) After that they gave him some medicine (in the shape of a soft pill) with some ice cream. At first he didn't want to eat it, but the nurse/doctor promised him a popsicle if he did. Then they took him to ex-ray his chest/lungs; the doctor said he had some stuff in the lungs and it would be wise to stay overnight in case he got worse like Timmy. It was originally planned that I would stay with John, but since I am not 18 yet, I wouldn't be able to sign any papers if John needed to have further treatment or whatever. So John is overnight with my dad and has the IV going.

So we arn't sure yet what they have, we were told it could be bronchiolitis (or bronchitis), a virus or maybe something that they picked up from Josiah when he had pneumonia.

I think thats it, if I miss any thing I will write later, now I am so tired I may fall asleep right here.

more happened yesterday then you wrote but its hard to remember everything and you don't like to sit there the whole day trying to write every little thing. not to important ether

I knew more happened, but I was tired and I couldn't remember everything. So I just wrote the "bare essentials" about Tim and John
